ashley + chris // married!

There was a smile on Ashley’s face this ENTIRE day! Maybe she was just so excited to be starting her new life with Chris, maybe it was because the ring bearers and flower girl were SO adorable and well-behaved, or maybe it was because of all of Chris and Ashley’s goofy friends (yes, the best man IS a professional pizza dough tosser!)

tara + doug // married!

Tara and Doug actually were married a couple years back in a civil ceremony, just the two of them. They decided to have a big bash with the whole family, including Tara’s brother, who is back from serving our country overseas. Their ‘vow renewal’ took place at Lake Lyndsay, and included a very interesting trunk ceremony in which they locked up letters written to each other, to be opened on their 25th anniversary. This is also the very first wedding we’ve done where the groom is the one helping the bride to dress!

jacquie + doug // married!

You first met Doug and Jacquie here, at Findlay Market.

For their outdoor wedding at Mt. Airy Forest, Jacquie decided on a picnic theme, complete with mason jars, coca-cola in honest glass bottles, paper lanterns (so romantic!),  a whole hog in the roasting box, and cornhole (which we, as South Carolinians, have yet to fully embrace). We were in heaven with all the seersucker.
