katie + david // married!

December 30, 2010

Our clients always take us to the quaintest venues! For Katie and David’s big day, we discovered the Cope Environmental Center and all its glory. Katie and David kindly forgave us for getting lost and running late (I have since been placed on restriction from use of the GPS) and we had a beautiful day together.

Katie and David: we wish you the best!

rachel + jeff // married!

October 26, 2010

Rachel and Jeff: sigh.

Absolutely gorgeous couple. Rachel was SO beautiful on this day that I (Amanda) am tearing up right now! I am such a sucker for fairy tales.

The backdrop was perfect: the White River Gardens at the Indianapolis Zoo. The heat was sweltering, but I’m pretty sure that once the ceremony started and the excitement took over, no one felt it anymore.

Backstage I watched as Rachel’s father kissed each of her bridesmaids before sending them down the the aisle, and then comforted Rachel with a few private words.  It was a very emotional ceremony.

One of my favorite elements of the reception was the adorable private table for two that Rachel arranged for us! Felt like we were on a date. Such a gracious bride to plan for such things.

And best of all, Jeff and Rachel have started their own company together! (We have a thing for couples who work together).

This day was a fun one for us guys, and you will always be very special to us!

tara + doug // married!

October 4, 2010

Tara and Doug actually were married a couple years back in a civil ceremony, just the two of them. They decided to have a big bash with the whole family, including Tara’s brother, who is back from serving our country overseas. Their ‘vow renewal’ took place at Lake Lyndsay, and included a very interesting trunk ceremony in which they locked up letters written to each other, to be opened on their 25th anniversary. This is also the very first wedding we’ve done where the groom is the one helping the bride to dress!

Hope you enjoy!
